This piece was first written for SATB voices. A few years after I wrote it, I felt inclined to make a version of it for treble voices as well. After a couple years, I will admit, I was a bit discouraged with the lack of excitement of this version of the piece from some, so I decided to take it off of my website. A few months later, I received an email from Liz Geisewite of Accord Treble choir asking if this instrumentation of Snow still existed as she had been interested in it and couldn’t find it on my website. I am so grateful to Liz for reaching out as because of her, this version of the piece now will see the light of day again. I love both versions but I will admit, something about the lightness of this one speaks to my heart. I am so happy to be able to now offer the four part divisi treble choir version of Snow.
